The allocation of resources has also been approved for any possible changes in the pandemic. At the same time, different departments are actively taking actions. Fiji also works closely with China and international community in fighting against the virus. On 6th March, Fijian officials and medical experts attended a video conference at the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, acquiring China’s experience and measures in combating the deadly virus.

People from Fiji are highly concerned about the latest developments in China. The police and students in Fiji made video clips to support the Chinese people. A Fijian student studying in Wuhan assisted the Chinese government to distribute rations to local community, fully showing his kind spirit of Fijian culture.

Thanks to the arduous efforts of the Chinese government and its people, the situation of the COVID-19 prevention and control in China is moving towards a positive direction. Fiji will keep standing with China and jointly address the challenges of COVID-19.
